Verizon iPhone Lands On February 3
By Chris Weiss
It’s almost surreal. It’s been years in the making. All the rumors. All the white noise. And we now have a date for what was once only a dream. It’s the Verizon iPhone. And orders begin on February 3. That’s next week.
The new information comes from an email sent out to corporate customers
Unfortunately, the February 3 date is only for existing customers, who will be able to order through their MyVerizon accounts. Everyone else has to wait until the original February 10.
Verizon will offer you incentives to ditch your AT&T iPhone and jump on the newer, shinier Verizon train. Incentives listed in the email to corporate customers are:
iPhone 2G – 16GB: $60
iPhone 3G – 16GB: $105
iPhone 3Gs 32GB: $160
iPhone 4- 16GB: $280
iPhone 4 – 32GB: $360
The February 3 launch will commence at 3 a.m. EST, and iPhones will be available in limited numbers, so get there early. Phones will be shipped via Fed-Ex two-day. [via Mac Rumors]
