Upcoming Dell Android MID “Streak” Leaked
By Chris Weiss
First finding its way into the rumor circle back in June, Dell’s MID has become the subject of a number of leaked photos and video originally ran by Tinhte.com. The new device labeled “Streak” runs Android 2.0 Donut and features a 5-inch touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution, Wi Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, 5MP camera with dual-LED flash and microSD expansion slot. It will compete with similar devices such as the recently-released Archos 5, and it will join the Dell smartphone that has been confirmed for U.S. sales.
Streak also appears to have a user facing video camera for video calls. The serial number on back indicates that the new device will be offered in the U.S., though availability and pricing information remain a mystery.
For more information on how this device stacks up, be sure to check out the zen-like video below. If you’re not all too interested in the MID market, the video should at least serve as a means of providing a relaxing, late-afternoon nap. [via SlashGear]
