Two Apple Tablets? A 7-Inch Version Said To Be a Definite

Not to be outdone by the day’s Nexus One news, our other favorite speculated device of the year has some news of its own to share. According to a source used by Boy Genius Report, the Apple Tablet will 100%, totally, definitely, no-questions-asked be offered in a 7-inch version. Nearly all of the tablet rumors of late have indicated a larger screen in the 10-inch range. Whether the 7-inch tablet will coexist with or be in lieu of the 10-inch model is still a question mark. The 7 is expected to be made official in January.

Of course when it comes to rumors, nothing is 100% until it’s been confirmed, but the way this was reported makes it sound pretty solid. BGR has stated that the same source has provided accurate intel in the past.

So the question is–would you like a 7-inch tablet or would you prefer the 10-inch? If Apple were only bringing one or the other to market, which would you want? Personally, I’d opt for the extra screen and am hoping that both versions are a part of the grand plan. [via BGR]
