Toshiba Qosmio X500 is Huge, Just for Gamers

With an 18.4-inch TruBrite LCD screen, Toshiba’s Qosmio X500 gaming laptop will eat your netbook. Here’s what we’re looking at for specs: Intel i7 quad-core processor, an nVIDIA GeForce GTS 250MNV (1GB) graphics card, up to 8 GB of RAM, a hard drive up to 1 TB, a Blu-ray writer, and a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen. The addition of Harmon Kardon speakers is a nice touch, and so are a few non-gamer perks such as fingerprint and face readers, a multi-touch trackpad and an HD Web cam. Best of all, it’s accented with red, as if to say, “This is what your gibs look like.” The Qosmio X500 comes to the United Kingdom in October, price undisclosed. [via Toshiba]
