TigerText Erases Your Dirty Texts, Unfortunately It’s Too Late for the Big Guy
Mar 02, 2010 - By Chris Weiss
You may not be able to purchase too much porn on your iPhone anymore, but now you have one more reason to make your own. TigerText is a new app named after everyone’s favorite adulterer-of-the-decade that allows users to automatically erase those drunken texts that will inevitably ruin their lives later on. The app allows senders to set an expiration date on questionable texts, so that they’ll automatically be vanquished from this world. Users can also set the text to expire the minute it’s been read.
Of course, the app requires that both sender and receiver use the application for messages. And that means that whoever’s receiving your illicit text has more reason to show it off to friends before the expiration date.
The app is free and comes with an initial bundle of 100 free texts that last for 15 days (so get down and dirty real fast). After the freebies, additional messages will cost $1.50 for 250 or $2.50 for unlimited texting–definitely a lot cheaper than a pay-per-view movie or lap dance.
If you actually want to use this to carry on some form of secret affair, you better keep your phone far away from your significant other. I think Tiger’s name is now filthy enough to tarnish just about anything, so just having this app on your phone may be enough to get a club to the head from a wife, girlfriend or female BFF.
