As always, I made the fateful error of waiting until the 11th hour for holiday shopping. Having just spent about $40 on 2-day shipping charges and canceling an order because the only way to get it on time was with $50 worth of overnight shipping, I wish I would have read about Free Shipping Day a little sooner.
Free Shipping Day is brought to us by a collection of more than 700 different retailers who offer free shipping on orders placed today (12/17) and promise that the goods will still arrive in time for the big Christmas morning unveil. Of course, each retailer has its own minimum order, so be sure you know what the fine print says before hitting confirm.
