For those Bear Grylls types that eschew hotel rooms and massages and actually brave harsh, life-threatening conditions, the Eton Voicelink FR1000 is your ultimate ace in the hole. Replace a bag-full of other gadgets with this self-powered crank radio that combines AM/FM and NOAA weather radios, 2-way GMRS, flashlight, siren and cell phone charger. Sometimes, a deal comes along that leaves you in awe, like this Blu-ray home theater system plus a wireless surround sound speaker kit. Woot’s got it for $500, which is quite good considering everything you get: There are, of course, five small speakers and a subwoofer, plus a BD-Live-compatible Blu-ray player. But what really ties everything together is the WAHT-SA10 S-AIR Wireless Surround Speaker Kit. It’s not a totally wireless set-up, but you’ll be able to run the rear speakers from the kit, which gets plugged into an outlet, so it’s great for running along the back wall of your living room. Now, let’s break down the price: Amazon has the theater alone for $650 (list price is$1,000), plus the S-AIR for $150, so you’re looking at a $300 savings for a new home surround sound theater. Awe noted. [via Woot]

Best Buy $9.99 TV? For a minute there, we thought it was our lucky day, with Best Buy selling a $9.99 TV, slashing the actual price by a couple thousand dollars. The 52-inch, 1080p, 120 Hz Samsung HDTV was on sale today through Best Buy’s Web site for $10, albeit momentarily. Obviously this was a collosal foul-up, not unlike the time Best Buy accidentally sold the Palm Pre for $99. But I’m not sure the retailer will honor the latest deal, as the company says offers can be revoked at any time. For what it’s worth, the TV is still on sale, but for just $400 off the regular price of $2,299.99. [via Gather]

Was Wednesday’s $150 Zune player too rich for your blood? There are cheaper options, you know, like Memorex’s 4 GB MP3, video and audio player, selling new from Woot for $30 plus $5 shipping. That’s roughly 1,000 MP3s, though the player also supports WMA, protected WMA-DRM, MPEG-4 and JPG files. A 1.5-inch OLED screen displays photo and video, and a built-in lithium polymer battery holds a charge for roughly 20 hours of audio or two hours of video playback. For the audiophiles, there’s a five-band equalizer. And with dimensions of just 3.1 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches, it’s good to go at the gym. As is the custom, I’ll compare to Amazon for you: $75 regularly. You know what to do. [via Woot]

Let’s hear it for second chances. It was only a week ago that Woot was selling a refurbished 80 GB Zune HD, complete with an audio/visual pack, for $150. Today, that same deal is back again, so if you missed your shot at roughly $280 in savings off the list price, this is your chance for redemption. It’s the same old Zune as before, with an FM tuner and “Social” features for sharing between devices, along with the a/v pack for docking the player and connecting to a TV or stereo. A lot can change in a week — maybe you hit Lotto or something — so jump on board now, lest Woot doesn’t come back for a third round. [via Woot]

Sooner or later, we’ll all get tired of the trackpad, and touch screens will be all the rage. Until then, there are a few products on the cutting edge, including HP’s 12.1-inch business track pad, selling new at Woot for a discounted $700 plus $5 shipping. Don’t be fooled by the photo — there’s a full keyboard under there, revealed when you swivel the screen into a more conventional laptop setting. The real pleasure, however, comes from scribbling on your lap with the stylus. Other features include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 120 GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery worth 5.5 hours of battery life and a glass top writing surface. The deal is only $70 cheaper than Amazon’s going price, but considering the list price is $2,200, you’re good either way. [via Woot]

80 GB Zune With A/V Pack for $149.99 – Good things come to those who can’t wait for the Zune HD. Today’s deal at Woot is a $150 refurbished 80 GB Zune, the iPod rival from Microsoft. Included is the Home A/V Pack with a remote control, plus all the usual accessories. That’s a pretty staggering deal considering that Amazon sells the 80 GB Zune new for $400, and the Home A/V Pack separately for $30. Maybe this will provide the sales boost needed to make that whole Zune-to-Zune “Social” concept take off. Or perhaps the included FM tuner will single-handled save radio. Either way, you can’t argue with $280 in savings if you’ve got portable music on the brain. [via Woot]

When shopping for a sleek new case for your iPhone 3G, why not get some extra battery life in the package? The Xpal iPower 2 includes a built-in lithium polymer battery allowing you to boost your battery life by 20 hours for music, six for video time or four for talk/data. You’ll also get 255 extra hours of stand-by. An LED power indicator lets you know when it’s time to recharge–something that you can do up to 500 times with mini-USB. Ordinarily you could expect to pay around 80 bucks for this case, but you can find it over at Woot for just $39.99.
