T-Mobile myTouch 3G – Please, no more gadgets that start with lowercase letters. It’s already impossible to start a sentence with “iPhone.” Officially, T-Mobile’s latest is called the “T-Mobile myTouch 3G With Google,” either because of the phone’s Google Apps integration or because Androids freak people out. But enough about semantics. The phone has a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen and 3.1-megapixel camera, measures 4.5 x 2.2 x 0.6 inches and comes in black, white or “merlot.” The multimedia features are nice, allowing instant upload of photos and videos to mail, YouTube or Picasa, and an Amazon MP3 store application allows for direct DRM-free music downloads. There’s only a 4GB microSD card included, so you’ll have to do some swapping for any serious media player usage. Pre-orders for the myTouch, which will cost $200, begin on July 8.
