T-Mobile iPhone 4 This Week?
By Chris Weiss
We always thought that the day that the iPhone finally broke free from its AT&T tethers and worked its way onto a new network would be the day that reception problems would stop limiting the popular smartphone. But given that the iPhone 4′s reception problems are hardware and not AT&T issues, it looks like the smartphone will just be bringing its problems over to a new network.
That may happen as soon as this week, with Pocket-lint reporting that the T-Mobile iPhone 4 may hit the market July 30. That’s this Friday for those of you who don’t keep track of frivolities like the day of the month. Word comes from one of the blog’s reliable sources named “FunkyChopsta.”
Put as much stock into FunkyChopsta’s word as you feel comfortable with, but after all the on again/off again Verizon iPhone rumors it’s refreshing to see a phone go from rumor to reality in just a week. Maybe.
According to today’s report, there will be no pay-as-you-go option for the T-Mobile iPhone.
Stay tuned for more details of the possible launch. [via Pocket-lint]
