Sustainable Bike-Towed Home, for Your Inner Burning Man
By Jared Newman
Worried about what would happen in a Swine Flu epidemic, and simultaneously looking forward to burning man, a guy named Paul built a self-sustaining, bicycle-towed house on wheels. It lacks a fancy name and has only the earthiest design, but Paul’s house is all you need to live should the apocalypse arrive. Cooking and hot water heating — for the occasional hippie shower — are handled with the help of solar panels, and there’s even a funnel outside for urination. It’s not clear how Paul handles his “other” business, but the presence of Scoop Away inside the house, paired with the lack of a cat in any of these photos, has me suspicious. [via Dvice]
