Sprint and AT&T Nexus Ones On The Way
By Chris WeissAny way you cut it, the Nexus One has been a disappointment. The phone failed to really wow and live up to its hype at premier time. Then it experienced all kinds of customer service issues due to the fact that Google really isn’t a retailer in the traditional sense. Sales have also been pretty dismal.
According to a report on Gizmodo, the Nexus One may gain a little appeal in the near future in the form of support for additional 3G carriers. This may help to make a $530 unlocked phone worth the investment.
An FCC filing made by Google shows a Nexus One able to run on WCDMA Bands I, II and V, frequencies used by AT&T and several Canadian providers for 3G. Gizmodo also cites a response from Sprint on inquiries as to Nexus One availability. The response alludes to the fact that the phone will eventually launch on Sprint’s network.
So if these tidbits lead to a Sprint/AT&T compatible Nexus One, the only question left is: will you want one then? [via Gizmodo]

That’s one opinion compared to hard figures and a larger consensus. There’s nothing wrong with the Nexus One, but it failed to deliver on the hype. Enjoy it my man.

I have a Nexus One. You obviously don't. It's an amazing phone! I am not disappointed in the slightest. It's fast, it holds a charge, it does it all. Completely rocks my socks. I've had an iphone; the two are comparable. I definitely prefer the Nexus – smarter design, techier, a lot of attention to detail and trends…don't be a hater because you can't afford one. You sound like a douche.
