Sony VAIO X Revealed
By Chris Weiss
At IFA 2009, Sony has announced the VAIO X ultraportable. The sleek, thin body of the X is crafted of carbon fiber, making it ultralight at just a pound and a half. Specs haven’t been released outside of the cryptic promise that the battery “will set the new standard for stamina” and an 11.1-inch screen. Despite the high tech going on in the chassis and battery departments, Sony opted to throw in an Atom processor. Pricing is not yet available, but will likely be pretty steep. [via Engadget]
