And you thought motion-sensing technology was just for video games and quirky mobile apps. Sony Ericsson has fitted its MH907 earbuds with the “SensMe” system, which includes capacitive sensors to detect when they’re in you ear. So the music stops when you pop both buds out of your ears, and resumes again when you put them back in. Also, the MH907 earbuds work as a cell phone headset, allowing you to answer calls by inserting just one earbud. Of course, you’ll have to use one of Sony Ericsson’s music phones with a Fast Port connector to get in on this, but it’s a neat solution for when you get interrupted during a jam session, and don’t want to fumble for the pause button. They’re coming out this week for $55. [Sony Ericsson via Dvice]
