Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 3D Mapping Gets Demoed
By Chris WeissNow that the Nexus One has come and gone (well not really gone, but close enough), the tech world is left looking for an upcoming phone to really get excited about it. After seeing this new 3D mapping feature, the Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 may be it.
The slick new mapping software is supported by real world imagery provided by C3 technologies. From the short demo clip of the 3D Landscape API that was released by Ericcson Labs, the mapping interface looks smooth and easy to operate.
The Xperia X10 is an Android handset that will include a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, 8.1 MP camera, Snapdragon processor and SE Android apps. It’s not clear whether the 3D mapping app will come standard on the phone.
