Jalou 2 Sony Ericcson Reveals Some Surprising Things About the Ladies for Its New Mobile

Supposedly, Sony Ericsson did all kinds of research to make this Jalou mobile more appealing to the fairer sex. What incredible sociological finds did they dig up? Let’s let them lay it down for us: “The two inch screen’s clever design means that at the touch of a button the screen becomes a mirror, offering a discreet way to make sure you look as good as your mobile phone. It is also the first Sony Ericsson to feature Walk Mate step counter, to help you stay in shape wherever you go. It also has an exclusive fashion interface which automatically updates with zodiac signs and special events throughout the year.” So, women enjoy fashion, make-up and exercise? Thank you SE. Judging by the shape of the phone, they’re also attracted to gem-like objects. Wow. Methinks that if SE could have crammed a marriage proposal, newborn baby and apron in here, they could have really made this puppy sing.

For those ladies that aren’t impressed by the array of stereotypical add-ons, the Jalou offers a host of standard mobile features including a 3.2-MP camera, video recording, 3G, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, monochrome external display, MicroSD expansion and a full Google mobile software suite. Surprisingly enough, the slim phone is only 2.7 inches long (closed)–so maybe SE did teach us something new about women. Ladies, expect this one to be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
