Samsung Says OLED Laptops Coming Next Year

Yesterday, Samsung released its new X-Series laptops, but the real story was in a comment made about OLED laptops. Kyu Uhm, Head of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Samsung’s Computing Division, stated that Samsung will likely release an OLED notebook in the third quarter of next year. Of course the, he said “probably”, but that statement represents the first contcrete date for an OLED laptop that we’ve seen. Not surprisingly, no pricing was offered, but the confirmation provides an exciting glimps ahead about one year when we could be computing on a brand new OLED. [TechRadar via Gizmodo]
