Report: Steve Received a Liver Transplant

With the exception of an occasional false rumor about potential public appearances, there hasn’t been much news on Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO who is supposed to return this month from medical leave. Now, the Wall Street Journal reports, without attribution, that Jobs had a liver transplant, but it still scheduled to return at the end of the month. Apple and Jobs, who survived pancreatic cancer in 2004, announced his sick leave in January, and a wave of speculation about his health followed soon after. Apple, of course, does not comment on these rumors. Strangely, there’s no shortage of doctors who will way in on the man’s condition despite having never met him. [via Wall Street Journal]
