PSP Phone: Fact or Fiction?

Reuters is reporting plans of a Sony PSP crossed with a Sony Ericsson Phone, a move clearly aimed at cutting into iPhone territory. According to the report, Sony will put together a development team as early as July to begin working on the new device. In the meantime, we’ll have to settle for the PSP Go (pictured above), sans phone, which will hit the market on October 1st retailing for $249. While sleeker profile and slide-up screen are nice, carting around a separate Motorola to stay in touch isn’t. What do you think: would you buy a PSP phone over an iPhone? [via CNET]
