Palm Pre No Longer Syncs on Updated iTunes

In a classic case of corporate one-upmanship in which the only real victim is the consumer, Apple has released its iTunes 8.2.1 update and booted the syncing capabilities of the Palm Pre right off the map. Pre Thinking is reporting that the Palm Pre doesn’t automically sync with the updated iTunes. So Pre owners can either skip the update and continue to sync using older versions of iTunes or spend the time to manually transfer the tunes onto their Pre with 8.2.1. Probably not a huge deal either way, but then again, neither was Pre’s original syncing compatibility. [via Pre Thinking]

You're absolutely wrong. Apple is the victim. They have been robbed by Palm. If someone breaks into your house and steals your belongings, forcing you to buy a good lock, that doesn't make you the bad guy. This Alan Alda sense of entitlement is what's wrong with America, and it's high time it stopped.
