Palm Pre iTunes Syncing: The Battle Continues

Clever Palm. When Apple blocked the Palm Pre from syncing with iTunes, we all thought the jig was up for good. Stocks even plummeted. But Palm has picked itself up off the ground and is fighting back, with a WebOS 1.1 update that brings iTunes sync right back, even with the new iTunes version 8.2.1. The company played it smooth, too, burying the news in a blog post on the update in general. CNet’s Bonnie Cha posits that the “one more thing” language used to introduced iTunes sync is a dig on the way Steve Jobs would drop bombshells at keynotes, and I’m hoping that’s true.
