Outed Now, “Skank” Blogger Sues and Tells All

It hasn’t been a particularly good past five days for either Liskula Cohen or Rosemary Port, the woman who in a blog post trashed Cohen as “The Skankiest in NYC. Having lost a lawsuit to reveal her identity, and then subsequently outed in the media circus that ensued, Port is now opening up to the press and launching a lawsuit of her own. She wants $15 million from Google for “breaching its fiduciary duty to protect her expectation of anonymity,” a claim that according to ZDNet’s Richard Koman shouldn’t go very far. Still, Port’s right that the whole thing would’ve blown over if Cohen hadn’t sued and spoken to the press to begin with. Now it’s just sad, and entertaining at the same time. [NY Daily News via ZDNet]
