Digital music has largely appealed to us dirtbags that like to scrounge the Internet to find all the great music without the not-so-great price tag. In the process, it’s all but left out the discerning high-end audio junkie that would gladly pay the extra scratch for enhanced sound quality. No matter how convenient and cheap an MP3 player is, it still doesn’t come close to the same audio quality as the CD player. Olive attempts to fill that void with its Opus No. 4. The high end digital stereo provides 2 terrabytes worth of space for lossless FLAC files–enough for 6,000 CDs worth of music. A touchscreen menu provides easy navigation through all that music. It features Wi Fi and Ethernet for streaming and both an optical and digital coax audio out to keep the audio tight on the way to your stereo.  While the $1799 price tag will sound completely outlandish to many, if you’re dropping it into a $75,000 stereo system, it’s money well spent.
