New iPhone Ads: Keep Pushing Those Apps

Sep 22, 2009 - By Jared Newman

A batch of new iPhone ads are out, and not surprisingly, all of them focus on the breadth of the iPhone’s App Store. As a selling point, the App Store is arguably the smartphone’s strongest suit, offering what seems like limitless possibilities to prospective buyers. After all, the iPhone itself isn’t particularly customizable, but you make your own experience with the apps you load on there. These ads have some utility for existing iPhone owners, too. For instance, I wasn’t too interested in the $3 “Classics” app shown in the above ad, but it did remind me to download Stanza and start downloading some free public domain books. More after the jump.  [via CrunchGear]
