Netgear Stora: Multimedia Gets Fully Connected

The Netgear Stora is a storage device designed to centrally store photo, video and music files, and let users access and share them virtually anywhere. The device connects to your home network and allows you to seamlessly stream files to a variety of devices including home PCs, Macs, gaming consoles, digital picture frames and other DLNA-enabled devices. Further, the Stora provides remote access to files over the Internet, allowing you to play your music collection on your Web-enabled phone or share photos with friends, for instance. The device includes one TeraByte of storage and an extra hard drive bay, which can mirror the first for quick, painless backup. The Stora is available in North America and costs $230 and $20/year for optional upgrades such as Flickr integration and mobile services. [Netgear via Wired]
