Most Embarrassing iPhone 4 Moment: Gizmodo or Wi-Fi FAIL
By Chris Weiss
Everyone knows all the ins and outs there are to know about the leaked iPhone 4 of Gizmodo fame. However, Apple had yet another embarrassing little blunder related to the iPhone 4, this time of its own making. Yesterday, during Steve Jobs’ big iPhone 4 unveil, an enthusiastic Jobs was stifled for a few awkward minutes by a total lack of Wi-Fi connectivity on the new iPhone. He was attempting to load the New York Times to demonstrate just how good the new Retina Display looks in comparison to the old display when the stubborn iPhone 4 just wouldn’t load. Steve played the crowd well, asking a audience full of live bloggers if they could just stop using Wi-Fi to help him out, but it was still pretty painful during an event the world was watching.
Perhaps the funniest part, Steve tried to ask for suggestions, only to receive a quick retort of “Verizon!”
