More Last-Minute Tablet Rumors Surface
Seeing as how the mysterious tablet device is only two days away, it’s no surprise that the week is getting underway with a fresh round of rumors. The first comes courtesy of mobile analytics company Flurry. According to its data, the tablet is being tested in Cupertino and features a new iPhone OS–version 3.2. The company says that it tracked 200 apps that it surmises were downloaded to test the tablet. The company detected 50 devices that have the characteristics of the tablet. The apps were largely games, entertainment and media related. The company can trace testing back to October and states that there was an increase this month.
We don’t get too much new here, other than vague, new evidence of a tablet device that is aimed at gaming, e-reading and multimedia. The analysis diverges from other rumors that predict that Apple will release iPhone OS 4.0 during Wednesday’s event.
Another rumor today is that Steve Jobs has stated that the tablet is the most important thing he’s ever done. He’s reportedly very excited about the device. [via Flurry and TechCrunch ]
