Yet another coming-soon tablet has emerged, this one from LG. Engadget got to test drive the device at Computex and offered a little sneak preview. Indicating that it may not just be your average “me too” tablet, the blog called it ” one of the most solid tablets we’ve had the opportunity to touch.”

The UX10 features a 10.1-inch LED touchscreen, which is showcased rather nicely with the jetty background in the picture. As equipped at Computex, the UX10 had an Intel Atom Z530 processor under the hood along with 1GB of DDR2, Windows 7 Home Premium, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, SD slot and a micro-HDMI output. Power comes from a 7200mAh battery, but there’s currently no indication of how long the life is.

Other key info like release date and pricing were absent, but reps indicated the tablet will be making its way to production. Unless of course it suffers the fate of other Windows 7 tablets like the HP Slate and disappears into the night. [via Engadget]
