Microsoft is currently seeking a Principal Program Manager to integrate “Xbox Live enabled games to Windows Mobile”, according to a job ad the company posted. Fret not if you don’t have the skills to fill the position, because the story here is that this means that Microsoft will be bringing Xbox Live gaming to Windows Mobile-based device(s). We’ll let the big M worry about details like who actually makes that happen.

Since the information was gleaned from a job description, there aren’t yet many details about exactly what Microsoft plans to do with the mobile platform, but it did mention “avatar integration, social interaction, and multi-screen experiences” in the ad. That, in addition to visions of enjoying Xbox Live on your mobile phone, will have to tide you over until the new feature is officially underway–or until Microsoft posts another job ad.
