Maingear eX-L18 Games Quite Nicely

When gaming becomes too important to stay shackled to a desktop, consider Maingear’s eX-L18, the first notebook to use Intel’s Core 2 Extreme Quad Core processor. There’s also a single or dual GeForce GTX 280M graphics card, three hard drives including one solid state, 4GB or 8GB of RAM and built-in DVD or Blu-ray. It also allows storage, memory and GPU upgrades in the future. This is one of those “budget, moderate or premium” deals, where you select a base model and let your jaw drop as the price escalates into the stratosphere, with the premium model approaching $6,000.
