Any fool can stick an iPod dock into a portable speaker system and call it a ghetto blaster, but takes extra cajones to bling it out with a gold chain and fake diamond paint job. The Limited Edition i931 ”High Performance Portable Music System,” from Lasonic and Rap-Up, weighs 25 pounds and booms with two 12-inch speakers (no word on whether the bass is totally blown out). In addition to the iPod holder, theres a USB input and an SD card slot. For old time’s sake, the blastser has an AM-FM tuner, but unfortunately no tape deck. When you’re too tired to strut this thing on the streets, lean back and use the included remote control. Being ghetto fabulous will set you back $189, available now. [Lasonic via Engadget]
