Kindle May Be Coming to Target in Two Weeks

With the recent launches of the Barnes & Noble Nook and Apple iPad, the e-class-leading Amazon Kindle is at a distinct disadvantage: there’s no where for potential buyers to get their germ-infested hands on it and try it before buying it. And there’s no way of comparing it with those other two devices, so if you like one of them, there’s really no reason to consider the Kindle.
Well, it looks like Amazon plans to change all that. A leaked inventory sheet shows the Kindle within Target’s greater stock of goods for the recognizable price of $259. Engadget is reporting that the Kindle will hit Target stores on April 25.
So if you’ve always wanted to see what the Kindle is all about without buying one (or stealing your buddy’s), it looks like you’ll soon get the chance. [via Engadget]
