Is Russia to Blame for Twitter Attack? Georgian Blogger Says Yes

First of all, I just want to say how awesome it is that there exists an image solely to convey the failures of Twitter. Moving on, it seems yesterday’s Twitter, Facebook and LiveJournal meltdown was Russia’s fault, as least according to a Georgian blogger who says he’s the target of the attacks. Blogger Cyxymu said he was criticizing Russia for waging war a year ago today on Georgia’s South Ossetia Region, and the government sought to silence him. Regardless of whether hackers actually perpetrated the attacks, said the blogger to The Guardian, “I’m certain the order came from the Russian government.” Kind of puts the whole you-can’t-broadcast-your-diet thing in perspective.
