iPod Nano Camera Doesn’t Shoot Stills
By Jared Newman
The introduction of a camera lens in the iPod Nano may have you excited to shoot video on the fly, but don’t expect to sneak in any still shots. Wired’s hands on with the Nano confirms that the new cameras don’t take pictures. Of course, if you’ve got any editing skills whatsoever, you could pull a still frame after sending the video to a computer. Other notes from the hands on: Placement of the lens on the rear bottom left corner of the iPod can be awkward, as right-handed photographers may cover the lens with their forefinger. Also, the device is shinier and less pointy — a potential bullet point on the box, perhaps? [via Wired]
