IPhone OS 4.0 Details Surface

Boy Genius Report has posted some new details of iPhone OS 4.0 that it garnered from one of its “trusty Apple connects”. The new OS is expected to be debuted at Apple’s big event next Wednesday, along with the tablet. OS 4.0 will reportedly be available only to iPhone 3G and 3GS owners and will make the phone more like a computer than any other phone on the market.
The new details indicate that OS 4.0 will get more multitouch, featuring gestures throughout the system. Mulitasking will get a boost thanks to some added ways of running applications in the background.
Other changes include basic UI upgrades aimed at making the iPhone easier to navigate and new syncing capabilities for calendars and contacts.
Also included in the same report, the tablet will possibly bear the unoriginal name of “iTablet”. After all that?? iTablet?!
