IPhone OS 3.1.3 Gets Released Today

Feb 02, 2010 - By Chris Weiss

Despite rumors to the contrary, last week’s iPad event didn’t present even a peep about iPhone OS 4.0. As the world waits for iPhone OS 4.0 (or even 3.2), Apple has released its latest iPhone update: OS 3.1.3. The updated OS includes a number of fixes that take care of some bugs and issues inherent in the previous version.

The new version makes the battery level indicator more accurate, resolves a problem that prevented some third-party apps from launching and repairs a bug that caused an app crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard. Nothing too revolutionary, but the update should help just the same.

IPhone OS 3.1.3 is available to all iPhone and iPod Touch users. Find more information about the release here. [via MacRumors]
