iPhone 3Gi: Behold It If You Can

Barely a month into the 3GS error, Apple has uncharacteristically tipped its hand about the next generation of iPhone. The Onion is reporting that Apple has already released the 3GI and sales have surpassed the 8-million-unit mark. In a truly incredible feat of technological engineering, the newest iPhone is so incredibly sleek and hip that only tried-and-true Apple fan boys can even see it. For the rest, it is invisible. The 3GI features enhanced hardware and software, and processing speeds and video resolution never before imagined. It also has the ability of operating a few dozen apps at one time. Oh, and don’t forget the high-def camera.  Here’s what Steve Jobs had to say:

“I am proud today to introduce to those who really, truly deserve it, our most incredible iPhone yet. Not only is this our lightest and slimmest model ever, but as any truly savvy Apple customer can clearly see, it’s also the most handsome product we’ve ever designed.”

The retail price is $599, which may seem like a tough obstacle to tackle, but if you can see it, chances are you’re already willing to spend way too much on an Apple product. [via The Onion]
