IPad To Become the Biggest Comcast Remote Ever

That damn remote is always getting lost. I must have dropped my remote into the couch cushions three times just this week. And that’s not even getting into the number of times I inadvertently left it in the kitchen or somewhere else around the house and spent valuable Chuck time scrambling around for it. If only my remote were a big, glossy piece of magical revolution, my problems would be solved.
Well, now they can be! Comcast recently demoed a new iPad app prototype that will turn your iPad into the world’s goofiest remote control. There’s no way you’d let your valuable iPad get jammed into a couch crevice by your sweaty posterior, so you’ll never have to search again!
Comcast’s Xfinity Remote app will allow you to remotely control your Comcast box with your iPad. Record shows, search through On-Demand and switch your cable box, all from the comfort of your favorite Jobsonian device. The app also allows you to invite friends to watch TV with you and chat with them all the while.
