It’s been very near two months and the iPad is still selling like hotcakes–or something that people actually still buy quickly. According to InformationWeek, Best Buys across the nation are struggling to keep up with iPad demand. Many Best Buy retail locations in major cities like New York, LA and San Francisco are sold out of the popular tablet, and the 16-gig Wi-Fi + 3G model has been particularly difficult to keep in stock. Apple has pushed the wait time from five to seven days to seven to 10 days on its online store, and some fools with too much money are even paying over $700 for a $629 model on eBay.

Earlier this week, Apple announced that it had sold two million iPads in just under two months, and while I don’t know that that was important enough to announce on Memorial Day, it indicates that the iPad shows no signs of slowing down. Steve Jobs said yesterday that Apple is selling an iPad every three seconds. [via InformationWeek]
