Today, the iPad 2 comes to Europe, and everybody’s all a tizzy. As a preview of what we’re going to be calling Tablet Tuesday, today it’s all about the iPad: complaints, comparisons and, above all, lines.
First up, Miniot, a Holland wood manufacturer who specializes in beautiful gadget cases, has a very pretty cherry iPad 2 cover. It’s shipping this month, so you might want to get on the contact list.
People hoping to avoid the lines at European Apple stores and other gadget emporiums by ordering online are going to be sorely disappointed. The Inquirer notes that you can buy the iPad 2 online today, but the earliest you’ll see it is next week.
Samsung revealed two new Galaxy Tabs at the CTIA this week that would seem to be serious iPad competition, but eWeek breaks down ten reasons Steve Jobs doesn’t care.
