HTC Mega Now Spec’ed, Maybe
Aug 24, 2009 - By Jared Newman
Hey look, another touch screen smartphone from HTC. The HTC Mega is a little less contoured than HTC’s other offerings, going instead for the “rounded brick” approach. Leaked specs say it’ll run Windows Mobile 6.5, with otherwise run-of-the-mill features like a 3.2-megapixel camera, a MicroSD slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 528 GHz Qualcomm processor and support for WCDMA/HSPA and quad-band GSM. The QVGA screen measures 2.8 inches. Of course, it’s all about the operating system these days, so the Mega could be a decent offering depending on how WinMo 6.5 turns out, especially if the price is right. As we’re still wading in unofficial waters, there’s no word yet on the HTC Mega’s pricing or availability. [Ai.rs Blog via Engadget]
