HTC Incredible Leaks, May Just Live Up to Its Name
By Chris Weiss
‘Incredible’ is a pretty presumptuous name for a cell phone, but for Android fans, HTC’s latest handset-in-the-leaking may just live up to it. An AndroidForums user got his hand on the phone and leaked a bunch of pictures and specs. Sure, the pictures are a bit rough around the edges–at least compared to the big, bold glossies we’re spoiled by every day, but the information is pretty thorough.
Here’s what the Incredible packs on and under its face: 1 GHz Snapdragon underclocked to 768 MHz, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 512 MB of ROM and RAM, optical trackpad, 8 MP camera with autofocus, FM tuner, 802.11 b/g and 1300 mAH battery. The phone measures 117.5 mm x 58.5 mm x 11.9 mm (L x W x D). It will be carried by Verizon.
Overall, sounds like a very solid bet for a new Android handset. Hopefully, we’ll see it for reals some time soon. [via MobileCrunch]
