Today, HDC provided some details on its new Android phone Hero. The phone uses a new interface called Sense, which includes Flash support and social network integration. The phone features a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, 5 MP camera with auto-focus, AGPS, digital compass, gravity sensor, mini-jack and “search” button. Inside the phone offers 512 MB of memory, expandable microSD, 288 MB of RAM and a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor. Sense has been designed to provide user-controlled flexibility and customization of phone features. As stated by Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer:

“HTC Hero introduces a more natural way for reaching out to the people and accessing your important information, not by following the status quo of today’s phones, but by following how you communicate and live your life. HTC Sense is a distinct experience created to make HTC phones more simple for people to use, leaving them saying, ‘it just makes sense.’”
