Google Wave Public Beta Coming in September

Google Wave Public Beta Coming in September – While currently only available to a few thousand private beta testers, Google Wave will be available to a larger group of public users this September 30th.  Google will be expanding the beta group to about 100,000 users, with a possibility of slowly increasing that number until the software is widely accessible.  No word yet on how Google will be providing these beta invites– whether from the current group of testers or some other invite system.

For those new to the Google Wave concept, this system merges email, instant messaging and blogging, a way to share conversations and content with your google contacts.  If you’re one of the lucky few to have gotten your hands on an early invite, we’d love to hear from you for some more feedback on just what Google Wave could mean to the tech world and the current power players in social communication like Facebook and Twitter.
