Gizmodo is reporting that a source has given the full confirmation of the Google phone. The report goes on to explain that the phone won’t just be the next Android phone, but a Google phone inside and out with a completely new version of Android that hasn’t yet hit the market. Their source has apparently seen the version of Android in action on both a phone and laptop.

Rumors about a Google-branded phone have been surfacing for a while and it’s thought that the phone will feature a Qualcomm processor, but little else on its design or features has been speculated. The new report adds only a large LCD screen to the list of what’s known/speculated.

The Google phone is considered a means of allowing Google to offer a pure Android experience the way it envisions it. More details will undoubtedly surface if and as the phone becomes more of a reality. [via Gizmodo]
