Google Pac Man 2 Google Offers a Homage to Pac Man

I can’t think of many better things to see on a Friday than a Pac-Man game on the middle of my most visited Web page. That’s what you’ll find (if you haven’t already found it) on Google’s homepage today.

The Pac-Man logo is one in a long line of Google Doodles, Google’s artwork that makes you scratch your head, click on the logo and begin a totally different search from what you’d originally planned to figure out what the hell Google is celebrating on that particular day. In this case, it’s celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man with its first playable Doodle. Just click the “Insert Coin” that appears in place of “I’m Feeling Lucky” and you can spend the rest of your Friday afternoon gobbling through a maze–just remember to mute the sound before you “insert coin.” You’d rather do that work on Monday morning anyway.
