Google Fast Flip: One Giant Online Newspaper

Ostensibly to get you reading more online news faster, Google Fast Flip is essentially a reader for newspaper and magazine articles that lets you quickly scan a significant chunk of every story. When you click on an article, an enlarged version of it appears, showing about five paragraphs of the story. From there you can either click through for the full story or flip through other articles in the same category. You can also personalize the experience by clicking on subjects, publications or journalists that interest you, and Fast Flip will include more of them in your feed. Three dozen publishers are working with Google on the project, taking a share of the ad revenue, but it’s worth noting that the publications’ own display ads don’t show up through Fast Flip.
