“Going Google” Ad Campaign Targets Microsoft
By Jared Newman
Microsoft may be gunning for Google with its Bing search engine, but Google is pushing right back in the app space, touting its office software to businesses. A new ad campaign, called “Going Google,” includes four billboards on major US highways, all of which featuring a different message each day of the month. You’ll find them on the 101 in San Francisco, the West Side Hwy in New York, the Eisenhower Expressway in Chicago, and the Massachusetts Turnpike in Boston. Google’s also trying to start a viral campaign, encouraging users of Google Apps to spread the word. Maybe business managers who are torn between Apps and Microsoft Office should Bing and Decide.
