Gateway to Launch One ZX Multi-Touch Desktops

Get your fingertips ready–Gateway is set to become the latest company to float a series of multi-touch desktops to market when it unveils its One ZX line later today. The multi-touch line will consist of the ZX6800 series and ZX4800 series. Each ZX computer will ship with the multi-touch-friendly Windows 7 and will include a host of multi-touch management tools courtesy of Gateway.
Specs on the ZX6800-01 include 23-inch multi-touch LCD with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 2.33GHz Core 2 Quad Q8200S processor, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4670 GPU, 1 TB hard disk drive (or 64GB SSD), six USB ports, 8 gigs of DDR3 and 8x slot-loading DVD burner. Accessories-wise the desktop comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard, webcam, hybrid TV tuner and built-in speakers. If you opt to save a couple of Benjamins on the ZX4800-02, you’ll get a 20-inch LCD with 1600 x 900 res, a 2.1GHz T4300, GMA X4500HD integrated graphics, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a 750GB SATA hard disk drive.
Both series are expected at U.S. retailers later in the fall. Prices will start at $1,399 for the 6800 and $799 for the 4800. [via Engadget]
