Every iPod Nano Gets a Video Camera
By Jared Newman
Apple is gunning for portable video camera market by adding video cameras to every new iPod Nano. There’s no word on specs or the camera’s ability to take pictures, but we see here that the lens is located on the device’s rear bottom corner. To make for better video viewing, the new iPod Nanos will have a 2.2-inch screen, plus a microphone for audio recording and a speaker for playback. In addition to the video camera, the Nano will get FM radio, VoiceOver features and a built-in pedometer. The new players are available today and cost $149 for 8 GB and $179 for 16 GB, though you should be able to get the camera-less modelsĀ for less, at least for a limited time.
