Bullet Headphones Are Pretty Creepy

BULLET HEADPHONES: Ever want to stick a bullet in your ear? If so, stop reading this article and get some help immediately. Or, shop for a pair of Munitio Teknines Nine Millimeter Earphones. In an odd little combination of suicidal hardware, unnecessary 18K gold plating and overpricing, these $250 headphones are quite obviously designed to look like 9mm bullets. Why? I have no friggin’ clue, but I’m sure some people–like eight-year-old kids– will find sticking golden bullets in their ears completely awesome. I’m also sure that most people who do find an ungainly pair of ear-bullets appealing won’t have $250 to spend on a pair of ‘buds.

Refusing to stray from its theme, Munitio even uses 9mm drivers in the Teknines. On the headphone side, the Teknines also offer BassEnhancingChambers and noise isolation technology. For $250, hopefully they sound damn good. Perhaps the bullet theme indicates some explosive bass? Perhaps not.
